My family is African American, residing in East L.A. I am 21 years old, and my younger brother Richard is 19. We live with our mother. Our mom brought us up to be good Christians and we are a very close-knit family. Last week, my brother Richard was implicated in a robbery of a drugstore downtown. My mother and I were really puzzled when the cops came banging at our door, and demanded to see my brother who was then in his room. They said a robbery occurred at a drugstore and my brother was identified from the rogue gallery. He has a photo on file with the police related to a student activity he participated in last year. My brother was at home the whole night, and I am certain he did not step out at all. We are now looking for a firm with good African American lawyers, so that we can get a good defense for Rich. Can you help us by providing a list of African American lawyers in our area? We are convinced that only African American lawyers can give Rich a good defense. No offense meant. Thanks.
